C2021 is Going Virtual!

The Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) is excited to announce that C2021 is being re-designed as a virtual conference.

In light of the important public health issues we are facing, and the uncertainty around our ability to hold a large face-to-face event in May 2021, the CES has decided to innovate and transform the C2021 conference from its traditional format to a virtual event.

A virtual C2021 will also support CES core values by reducing barriers to participation and by minimizing the environmental footprint of the conference.

Of course, there are many unknowns with this format, such as the duration of the conference, how we will package the presentations, how we will deal with time zones, how we reconstruct the networking and social aspects of traditional CES conferences, and our pricing approach to the various conference offerings, including workshops, to name a few. Conference volunteers are already at work exploring various options to make C2021 an exciting and groundbreaking experience!

Details will be shared as planning efforts unfold. If you haven’t already, please register on the C2021 website to receive periodic updates.
